Taste Test Classic American Comfort Food at the Mac and Cheese Cook-Off at Chopper John’s

November 6, 2017 7:00 am

Known for lots of live music, Chopper John's is also locally famous for its quintessential American pub food—including mac and cheese. So it's the perfect place to host the Mac and Cheese Cook-Off on Sunday, November 12th at 5:30 p.m.

Using Chopper John's own mac and cheese as the gold standard, four judges will taste test amateur mac and cheese dishes and crown the winner, then award them a cash prize. Each chef pays $20 to be entered into the competition, so the size of the pot depends on how many sign up. If you want to be part of the fun, sans the cooking, come to Chopper John's to taste a few of the mac and cheese dishes, grab a pint, and watch the game on November 12th.
